"Jimmy JAX" Conner Get's a Big Hometown Welcome from Nextage Team Realty

Nextage Team Realty's newest addition is Jimmy Conner, who happens to have a long and colorful history in Northside Jax, with some serious "flying time" mixed in for good measure.

 

His Dad owned Oceanway Pharmacy on North Main Street for 40 years, which closed upon his passing in 1999. Jimmy's Uncle Ralph owned the Oceanway Hardware Store right down the road.  He grew up on the Northside, and his career literally "took off" when he went to work at Jacksonville International Airport right out of High School.  His work has taken him to some of the most beautiful, vibrant cities in the world, but he says he's glad to be back to thte place he's always called home.

 

"My most memorable trip, of course, was travelling to Mexico, where I met and fell in love with my wife, in Merida. She didn't speak a word of English then." Jimmy is bilingual in English and Spanish, so obviously, communication was not a problem.

 

"After traveling all over the world for about 12 years, I wanted to return home to Jacksonville, and make the career switch to Real Estate." Jimmy and Youmana have a home in the Villages of Northwoods, close to his family, where his Mom has lived in the same New Berlin house since before he was born.

 

"I've flown all over the world, and I'm thrilled that I landed back in Jacksonville, near family and old friends"  And we're thrilled he's decided to join Nextage Team Realty. Welcome back, Jimmy!
